	calvin began his project on May 20th by developing a mine with help of his IRL brother, and building a home, along with a town hall (later becoming the CalvinTown hotel), and a fishing hut. That morning, calvin wrote in chat "i am working on the ever growing calvin town," signifying the first ever use of the town name (later changed to CalvinTown). The town received its first members at the time and its first builds, including 1mcslender's bar, mog60_09's shack and hole in the wall arcade, and Spectric's stone thing. It remained the only area of CalvinTown until the town expanded up the hill into Upper CalvinTown Estates. As CalvinTown continued to grow rapidly, buildings popped up left and right in downtown, making it the collection of skyscrapers it is today. However, the implementation of the Landmark Leaderboard drew renewed interest in CalvinTown due to its history and top position on the leaderboard, usually sitting at spot #1 or #2. New members began to join again and new builds appeared, such as Levinders spleef arena, and the Calvin Cathedral. CalvinTown now stands as the #1 most mentioned, visited, and built-in town in server history, and still one of the most active to this day. 			On July 12th, 2025, by popular vote, calvin elected to begin mayoral elections for CalvinTown leadership. A mayor's term was set to run 3 months, with no term limits imposed. The CalvinTown constitution was established at this time as well, setting rules to regulate elected mayors and to preserve the history and integrity of CalvinTown and its values. The first CalvinTown election concluded on July 26th, with ColoradoCrusade winning with 53% of the vote. His primary contender, Fearborne, received 41% of the vote, while proper_cat claimed 3% of votes. The presidency of ColoradoCrusade was short lived, however, as due to real-life obligations, he elected to step down on August 20th. During Colorado's presidency, he accomplished very little, with some minor infrastructure upgrades and recruiting being the extent of his work.
