Overview

Ikealand (A.K.A. IkeaLand or IKEAland) is an empire that contains multiple cities within around 300 thousand blocks of spawn. It was founded by Wormzy333 and CookiezWIthCream on July 15th, 2024, and is owned by Wormzy333. Ikealand opened to the public on July 20th, and has a population of over 120 people.

History

Origins

On July 15th, 2024, Ikealand was founded by Wormzy333 and CookiezWithCream after talking on a voice chat about starting a funny new town. After going through many different ideas, they decided to use IKEA, as it would be the easiest to build and the most recognizable. They invited some friends to work on it together. After a couple days, Wormzy started inviting people. The first member of Ikealand was LifelyTrace, who still plays to this day. The population quickly began rising, and Ikealand hit a population of 50 on August 1st. Things seemed to be going very smoothly for Ikealand.

On August 2nd, 2024, CalvinTown declared war on Ikealand, after Wormzy made some unsavoury remarks about them.

IkeaTown

IkeaTown is the capital of Ikealand and is where the first /lmk is located (/lmk IkeaLand). It is home to the main IKEA in Ikealand. The mayor of the town is Wormzy333.

HarvardTown

HarvardTown is owned by DrBoneJones who is building a Harvard there. The Harvard will serve as education for any players, and you must take the teachers' quiz to become a teacher.

Novigrad

Novigrad is owned by _cubed. It is the second /lmk within Ikealand (/lmk Novigrad). Novigrad is the second largest town within Ikealand.

Tutorial World

The tutorial world is a recreation of the TU3 tutorial world created by CookiezWithCream.

Cold Kingdom

The Cold Kingdom is owned by lkarch. It is the third /lmk within Ikealand (/lmk Cold_Kingdom). It is cold. 🥶

Ikeagrad

Ikeagrad is a castle owned by YayoCreeg. It has strict building laws that prevent people from building near it, as multiple people have built on the land. Ikeagrad is an enclave city in IkeaTown.

Old Nameful

Old Nameful is jointly occupied by Ikealand and the Nameful Domain. It is technically the fourth /lmk in Ikealand (/lmk Old_Nameful)

Lingon Town

Lingon Town is owned by Dinnerbone4241. It is currently still being established, but once it is, they will sell "lingonberries" (apples).
